Guitar Exercises for Beginners

There is no substitute for practice, both in developing calluses and motor skills.

This software introduces twenty chords over four keys using pseudo random progressions within each key to reinforce learning. The speed of each exercise can be fixed or allowed to increase as the exercise progresses.

In each key the exercises add major, minor and dominant 7ths to the mix, helping to develop your understanding of chord qualities. The twentieth exercise modulates between the four keys. Bringing all twenty chords into play.

Further Exercises included in this software provide the student with common strumming patterns accompanied with a choice of metronome, count, instruction or sample, with variable tempo, also included are several progressions commonly found in popular songs. This software was designed not to replace your Guitar teacher, but to provide further useful practice routines.

In order to continue to develop this software I am always pleased to receive feedback. I can be contacted via email at goatbox@live.co.uk

All the best and Keep Strumming
